Join Us for The Librarians

Dream City Pac’s first event is here! We are bringing the community together for a screening of The Librarians, a powerful documentary examining the wave of book bans sweeping Texas and the nation. In Texas alone, the Krause List has targeted more than 850 books, many centered on race and LGBTQIA+ stories, sparking censorship efforts that reach far beyond library shelves.

At Dream City PAC, we believe Arlington thrives when we face real issues together with honesty, courage, and care for one another. This screening is about more than a film. It is about creating space for community dialogue, shared understanding, and people-powered action around challenges that directly affect our schools, libraries, and public life.

Join us as we come together to learn, reflect, and build the Dream City we believe in.
